Katiebug_1976
Hi, I had planned on beginning Writing Tales level 1 with my soon to be 4th grade son in the fall, but then I ran across CLE LA. We have decided to use CLE for Language Arts. So my question is, having never used either of these before, if we are going to use CLE do I need to add Writing Tales, or is there enough writing incorporated into CLE itself? I really like to looks of Writing Tales, but my son is not very big on writing at all and I don't want to overload him. I would appreciate any thoughts you could offer. Thanks so much

Mom0012
I'm finishing up CLE 203 with my daughter and there is some writing, but it's not very structured. The 2 writing assignments we've come across so far are a book report and writing a paragraph about anything you want. We skipped both of these. I'm planning on continuing with CLE, but I have already bought WT and plan to use it as well. Lisa
TN Mama
We used CLE LA this year (200) and I skipped most of the writing assignments. We used WWE 1 and part of 2. The plan for next year is to use CLE LA 300, finish up WWE 2 and move on to WT.
