mominbc
I am confused by this new standard edition and its bells and whistles. Does anyone know if this is worth the extra money? TIA!!

AudreyTN
I haven't been able to find the "old" edition anywhere. Just the Standards.
LadyAberlin
I think I heard the little readers are optional.
Coffeetime
It is my understanding that the "Standards" editions of Singapore are just editions specifically designed to meet California State Public School Standards. In order for them to be used in Public Schools, they had to move around a few of the chapters, introduce things in a slightly different order etc. But I don't believe they changed much of the content. At least that's what I've read. If you go to http://www.singaporemath.com you should be able to order the U.S editions. Coffeetime
No it doesn't seem that they changed much of the content, but the look of it is different. I liked the look of the older books. Maybe I'm weird that way. I'm the same way.... once I get used to using a specific book I don't usually like "updates". ;)
