Miss Peregrine
So, the kids are in a Fife and Drum corp. As they promote, the uniform gets more "adornments" and more expensive. DD is going to have to work to buy her canteen($44!?!?). I told her she could take over washing her little sisters' laundry.(She already does her own) How much is reasonable for washing/drying/folding a load? They will put their own clothes away. TCoppock
I would probably consider somewhere around $1 a load. If that does not add up to enough for the canteen maybe you can add on extra tasks.

JFSinIL
When I was a teen 30+ years ago I got 50 cents per load and averaged $3 a week. So about $1 a load now sounds fair.
