Blueridge
We recently set up the internet connection on our Wii, and saw you could buy Wii games on their Shop Channel. I was a little concerned with entering credit card numbers into their system because I don't know how protected their data base is. Does anyone do this? I really want to buy The World of Goo. Thanks~
ekarl2
I've bought games on there and haven't had a problem. Our wireless network is secure and I'm sure Wii uses SSL; they'd be INSANE not to. I'm sure you're fine!
Krista in LA
We buy the Wii Points cards at Target but they are available at lots of stores. It's $20 for 2000 points and then you just enter your card number in on the Wii instead of using a credit card. It's a safer way to do it plus the card can be a great gift too. Mrs Mungo
You can buy "wii points" cards and use those to buy games if you don't want to enter your credit card number. My son got a couple wii points cards for his birthday last year.

KristenS
The World of Goo on the PC is a weirrrrrrd game. My kids (and dh) got addicted to it. Now they want to buy it every time they see it on the Wii channel. They don't believe Dad that it's the same game. LOL. Anyway, we've never had trouble ordering games there. Yet, anyway. Blueridge
Thanks again, ladies. I stopped by my local Walmart but they didn't have any point cards...but this morning I thought to look on Amazon...and they did! So I have one ordered and on it's way! Besides World of Goo, are there any more games on the Shop Channel that are really great and worth purchasing? I have girls. :D
