  1. If you have a Trader Joe's in your area, they sell udon and rice noodles in a bowl. We usually add frozen peas (from TJ's also) for a quick, easy-peasy lunch. The kids love it!
  2. I've had two lithotripsies but never had kidney stones while pregnant. For those unbearable, middle-of-the-night pains, the urologist told advised to take hot baths, as hot as I could tolerate. So I would soak for 5-10 minutes, until it gave enough relief to be able to fall asleep. Although, with your pregnancy, I don't know if your doctor would give the same advice. Perhaps a heating pad would give you some comfort. Hope that you pass the stones soon, or that the pain doesn't increase. I can only imagine how much worse the stones must feel whilst preggo. Hugs to you!
  3. and then use as a spread with cream cheese!! Too bad we're not neighbors:001_smile:
  4. Please contact the real estate offices in Pittsburgh (or within the city that you plan to move to) and have them locate a rental for you. Real estate agents have access to rentals and also receive a finder's fee for placing people in rental properties. Also, sometimes the city's Visitors Bureau might know of rentals. I'm so sorry for your situation but please remember that things will get better. Prayers to you and your family.
  5. :lurk5: Thanks for asking this. I'm leaning towards GD right now since it can be used for grades 1-8. Also, the new colored curriculum is on special right now:)
  6. I had to giggle when I saw this. Yes, that is the standard way that Asians/Pacific Islanders cook rice. I highly recommend buying a rice cooker so you don't have to watch it cook on the stove. Rice cookers make life a lot easier, especially when you have rice everyday:)
  7. No, I either draw pics on a dry-erase board or use whatever flashcards that I already have. I also supplement with their Power Math-K workbook.
  8. Thank you very much for sharing your art curriculum. This is exactly what I was looking for but could not find. Can you please tell me how often during the week your children did art?
