  1. I use Mr Gelston's one room school house- he is a live math teacher and I think he has patched some holes we had and my son is doing great. Ai love his vocabulary and positive attitude. Going from Singapore into something else has been a challenge. My son has finished 6th grade, and half of 7th in about 20 online line classes. You can get an assessment and a break for the first class to see if your a fit too. I am happy. My son just took the AMC 8 and did top 25% of 8th graders he is 11 years old.
  2. Heck yeah- try some kitchen science cooking, and some art- if he needs you to have a long day make sure half of it is constructive play!
  3. I saw it but have not purchased- do you like it?
  4. My ds age 11 has been diagnosed dyslexic- which seems out of place to me as he has always had top reading scores and placement. He has terrible spelling and is a reluctant writer. He is years ahead in math and reading and science. Should I start and invest in Barton? Try apples and pears? logic of the English language was a bust.
  5. My son loves math but starting with a math teacher has really helped. It is about the price of a local tutor and he has made great strides.
