  1. I bought oxiclean and Zout. I think both contain borax. Buyer backed out. Wasn’t able to sell my washer/dryer in storage
  2. Tried all that. Didn’t help. Just wasting my time & money it seems.
  3. This person wants to buy my washer/dryer. They canceled due to an emergency and I asked if there was any way we could just shift the time. Fingers crossed they actually follow through today. I did locate my modem - inside my dad’s house! But the particular plan I’m on doesn’t require a rental fee to use the company modem so I haven’t lost any money. I left a message with the gym asking if they’ll waive a cancellation fee since I moved and there are no gyms of that name in my new area. The employee was confident the answer was no but I once thought the fine print said they might waive it. So a manager will call me probably Tuesday to confirm. If not, I’ll continue to pay $10/mo through May.
  4. Ok I bought Zout & oxi clean. I’m at my dad’s tonight so gonna soak items here if I grabbed the stained shirts in my haste. I grabbed a bag of laundry before I came.
  5. Well now I gotta figure out what to buy oxiclean? washing soda? borax? I did buy and use the Fels-Naptha laundry bar several weeks ago, too. Today I’m wearing one of the tops with an unzipped hoodie. Lol I don’t want to get my hopes up but supposedly a guy is gonna buy my old washer/dryer this weekend. It’s in storage and I can’t use it in my rental because it won’t fit.
  6. I’m laughing because chatting while folding makes the chore sound fun.
  7. Re: stripping I’ll look into borax and the tub idea. I don’t have a washer at home now. I’ve been having to use the laundromat and the cheapest wash load is $3.50? And none of the local laundromats have top loaders. Laundry has been a real pain lately.
  8. I used it before they changed their formula. Smelled like stinky feet!! I smelled worse after using it. I have never had success with any natural deodorants. Just wasted money and once got a rash!
  9. Well yes and no? Because many could be recently divorced or single in my age group. Like one of my guy friends came out of a 10 yr relationship. But he’s not looking for a new one, so maybe bad example lol
  10. Mostly I agree in it not making sense. But in this particular circumstance I was thinking we will likely cross paths again (though rarely) and we did both buy concert tickets to the same show in a few months so I’d maybe carpool if he reached out. But I’m just planning to go alone as I planned when I made the purchase. The tickets are not for assigned seats. Also it’s rare I meet anyone local to me that isn’t married and has similar taste in music etc.
  11. It’s fine. I appreciate the feedback! You’d think at age 40+ you’d be dealing with men. But I think I’m still dealing with boys.
  12. I’m pretty convinced that guys are cowards. They want to keep a “good guy” label so they think if they just do less or push you away in some capacity you’ll be the one to either end things or bring it to a head. Then they’ll throw out the let’s be friends line without any real significance behind it. I did value them as a person/friend so I said if they were serious about friendship we could hang out later and if not that’s ok, too. The response was a like reaction. So you know, clear as mud. Google says you should give it time and gave a suggested formula for when to hang out again. So in my case that would be about 3 months. In 3 months we probably won’t have even been talking and reaching out randomly to hang out would seem weird. I don’t think I’d reach out. I’ve been rejected enough.
  13. I did everything that came up for removing deodorant stains from black clothes lol and this new deodorant was a waste of $8. No odor protection lol. I hate all the aluminum-free ones.
  14. I dunno. But I want to get rid of the thick junk layer too. I could try the dye idea, but it may or may not match lol yeah I tried dawn and scrubbing with a toothbrush and even wire brush. I tried 2 types of salt. Tried baking soda once. Nothing helped.
  15. I’ve used Mitchem off and on and figured it caused the build up even though it applies clear. But the stains could be from a different deodorant in the past. I haven’t tried zout. I may have tried Shout?
  16. Cspire is tossing me back and forth between departments saying, “we’re not the dept that could remove charges.” My landlord said that the washer/dryer was put into the unit where an a/c unit was when there were window units (I have no idea what that means). Then went on to say the w/d had been there 16 years with little to no complaints. Umm what?? Then who put it in? Because I was told it belonged to the previous tenants… did he mean a few tenants back ? Highly doubt they lived there 16 years. my gut reaction is: it’s 16 years old?! No wonder it’s falling apart
  17. I’m worried it’s beyond that. This is old, resistant build up. I’m not sure how those sponges work exactly.
  18. I have tried several things and no luck. Today I bought an aluminum-free deodorant which hopefully helps with other clothing. The brand name is Crystal. I think I’ll have to retire those tops or refashion into tanks or decorative pillows or something.
  19. Cspire said my current total and I apparently got charged for the most recent billing cycle as the porting delay screwed me over. They said they can’t help me (not that they were eager to) and I’ll have to call another department. I canceled hp instant ink. No point anymore. The printing was mostly for work-related documents in the past.
  20. Moving the pharmacy blew up in my face. They didn’t honor the original price so I have to try to sort that out. Or periodically drive to my Mississippi PO Box for the original deal 🙄 Unlikely to honor original price at new pharmacy as it was based on your ins not covering it. I don’t have active ins yet. I’m still trying to pause HP instant ink. They show a cancel option but not pause and I know I paused it before! I’ll try to get a human on the phone later.

  22. They have a cc on file for the unit
  23. The main big thing in storage is the washer/dryer. I need to get rid of it as I don’t want my dad to be burdened to move it somewhere.
  24. I watched a webinar on dating. The summary was there are 3 main reasons guys aren’t approaching women in person. And it’s very, very common for women not to be asked our IRL. Fear was one. Political climate was one (accused of harassment etc). I forgot the third. I think it was something like laziness/convenience… oh I’ll just use a dating app instead. The advice was to approach men yourself in certain locations and to visits those locations basically at the same time each time for a while. He didn’t go into all the details because he wants you to buy his program. I don’t think I’m invested enough to do all that. The last guy I met organically. And the one before was an old friend. It’s just hard to meet people organically. Well for one I’m rarely attracted to anyone I see. They aren’t in my age bracket or they’re wearing a wedding ring or are sporting the scruffy beards I hate etc.
  25. Yes, I think I will need to sell more things but not sure if I can get people interested.
