I have a secret...SHHH!!! You don't atually need the starter! Just make it as it says! I did it for Christmas when my starter had mold in it!:lol:

I am about to take lessons to sew! I am SO EXCITED! I am buying a machine soon, and want some input. What do you recommend? I thought about getting one from HSN that does embroidery and sewing...it's about $799. Please give me some input! I know nothing so far about sewing, except that I like to do it! Jessica

I'm starting back to meetings on thursday. B: oatmeal, skim milk, fruit. OR 3 egg whites, 1 egg, 2ts EVOO, fruit and milk, OR, healthy cereal and skim milk and fruit. L: I tend to do the lean cuisine frozen meals. Only cause they are easy when I have 3 other kids to feed. I do whole wheat wraps a lot, too. Meat, lots of veggies, 1 slice cheese, then cut veggies and a fruit. S: I tend to do apple and PB, protein shake (cause I lift weights a good bit) triscuits and hummus, tricsuits and cheese, popcorn i cook on the stove D: is always lean meat, veggies, and a grain. It helps to cut up some fresh veggies every morning as I make DH lunch and fill a 3c container with them and snack all day. I'll cut up peppers, tomatoes, olives, carrots, cucumber. It's an easy way to get all my veggies. I have a problem undereating...so I work on that a lot. Jessica

I just bought an upright freezer from Lowes. I LOVE IT!! It allowed us to purchase a cow and eat locally and for lower cost! If I were to buy an extra fridge, I would find one off craigslist for $100. To me, it isn't worth more. jessica

I think I will go with Cherry Tomatoes, cukes, and herbs, maybe? I can't decide. This is all so new!

I am not completely sure about the earth box, as I just ordered it, but basically its a box that you garden out of. You put soil in it, and it has a tube that you add water to. You can never add too much or too little water cause of the tube. Then you put a cover of it. www.earthbox.com They came highly recommended by many gardeners.
