Hi Karen,
You are the one who finally convinced me to post in the new forum! I have been here forever (like 10 years). I do remember back when you were going to school in Tally. We live in the Jax area, but are actually located fairly close to UF.
I have used both of the CEU providers listed below with no problems to report. Be sure to save your certificates of completion for four years. Legally, you can be audited during that time frame.
All Florida-licensed RNs and LPNs are in a 24-month renewal cycle and must complete 24 contact hours of continuing education during each renewal period. One contact hour is required for each calendar month of the licensure cycle, including two contact hours on Prevention of Medical Errors. HIV/AIDS is now a one-time, one contact hour CE requirement to be completed prior to the first renewal. Domestic Violence CE is now a two contact hour requirement every third renewal. For example, if you renew your license on April 30, 2008, you are required to complete the Domestic Violence CE before the April 30, 2012 renewal.

Did you decide to move back? Shands has a very comprehensive website of job listings both at Jax and in G'ville. Take a peek.
Good luck!
