shoes the dust pan and my car keys. I found the gremlin that was taking the tape after I found 3 empty tape rolls stuffed in the couch. :tongue_smilie:

I have lived next door to this person who we will call S for 5 years I am neighborly. My husband works out of town and is gone for months at a time. This time when my husband went to work S was going through a breakup with another neighbor. S comes over all the time sometimes at 10:30 pm and stays for hours. S is a talker the kind that when you say bye they are still talking and you are not sure if they are talking to themselves or you. ALWAYS talking even when no one is around or you can't get a word in. So S mentioned that she had some food in the other neighbors deep freeze but had no where to put it she then asked if I had room in my deep freeze, I said yes that she could use the top shelf. She has the top shelf packed so tight it is scary. S was over a bit ago and mentioned she had more stuff to put in there and that she was going to put it on the next shelf :001_huh:. I didn't say anything not that I could have gotten a word in anyways. She has also started to just come into my house without knocking or knocking once and coming on in. I don't like confrontation. She is going through a hard time and I don't want to hurt her feelings. :confused: Any suggestions on how to remedy this situation without hurting her feelings or causing neighborly tension.

My kids who have gone to public school, cried when we stopped by their old school and I teasingly told them they were going back to public school. My youngest also wants to be homeschooled for college. lol

:ohmy: My husband got laid off a couple years ago.When he couldn't find a job close to home he got one 4000 miles away. He still works with this company and we feel blessed that he has a job in today's market even if he is so far away. But when our children were babies there was a time when ends just weren't meeting and we applied for assistance we made $2 to much. The mentality of some people is shameful.

I have my best friends 3 kids come over on Tuesday and Thursday to do History with us. The kids love it they look forward to History (finally) there is no fuss or whining it is wonderful. They are all close in age though (5,6,6,7 and 8 yrs.) and they get along great. It works out really well for us. In the fall we plan on getting together for science also. I think the key is to have like minded standards and expectations in parenting and schooling and for the kids to like each other.
