Some of you might remember my post from a month ago. My oldest dd is getting married in November. She went to the bridal store and found a lovely dress with a lace overlay. But it was strapless, as was all the dresses in the store. She considered having a jacket made for it. After trying more dresses on she decided to go with another style. Our intention was to find different features in the dresses she tried on and have our seamstress (who has a degree in fashion design) combine and design a dress for her. At one bridal store she tried on a dress by Jasmine Bridal. She fell in love with the dress! And it fit her very well. We were going to try and have the seamstress duplicate this dress. On looking at the Jasmine Bridal website to try and get pictures of this dress, I saw off in the corner a link that said "Temple Ready". I clicked on it had was amazed that they would take certain of their best selling dresses and add a top. You could choose what type of neckline and length of sleeves. Her dress was on the list! We ordered it from a bridal shop last week. They only charge $100 extra to do this. Sorry this got long, but I wanted to encourage you that there are options out there. There were other modest bridal dress websites, but the dresses were rather plain. My dd got the dress of her dreams and was able to have it made modest.
