I voted year round, but we are having a baby in June so might take off 2-3 months and have a summer break :) we tend to do just 4 days a week and it's nice to take off whenever we need it :)

I used T4L this year for a while with my 1st grader because of this pregnancy. I needed her to do something and it worked while we used it. I would of used it for my 3rd grader too but he was able to do Sonlight independently. You might look into teaching textbooks also.

Have you looked into sensory processing disorder and or ADHD type issues. Those are all I'm familiar with and my dd has those type of issues. For us we really started looking for help when she would physically hurt people. We tried behavioral therapy for a while but she couldn't implement the strategies to control herself till after the dr put her on concerta to manage her ADHD. She told me after she went on the meds she felt like she finally had the control where she could stop herself.

I hide the games in my closet or take them to my moms so she can play them with the kids ;) then again my mom is a board game addict and doesn't mind.

For what it's worth my micro final was to find the unknown bacteria through a process of elimination by performing a bunch of tests...half of us never figured out what we had, but there is some type of flow chart you can use to determine what you have, usually first by determining if it is a rod or cocci... I'm not sure where to find the right chart and all, but I hope you can figure it out :)

For us not combining my 2nd child makes life easier :) it does sometimes feel like more work, but the times we try to add her in it really can frustrate all of us :) for us she needs her time and quiet or she will struggle.

I did P4/4 for dd K year along with LA K, and Singapore math. We had a fun year. Truthfully you could just use something like The reading lesson and a handwriting program and be good with LA. My dd did love the creative writing assignments that were scheduled once a week in LA K.
Haven't used MFW :)

My dd has SPD and ADHD. One thing for her is that her Adhd helps trigger her SPD so managing her ADHD with meds has worked well for us and decreased the negatives of her SPD. We still have issues we deal with but nowhere near as bad as they use to be.I guess my main question is: Can SPD look like ADHD?

We just finished up C, ds took 3 hours that was with all the core and sci C, LA, math and about 20 minutes for piano.

My ds is pretty bad too, I switched him over to cursive and that has helped. I worked in a hospital a while back and console myself that my 9 year olds handwriting is much better than half the doctors when they wrote their orders ;)

Crayon. We say it like crown so sometimes the y is left out :)

My ds has milk issues and could tolerate some sweet acidophilus milk but does well on almond milk. He was always on about the 10% from birth. He is still small but just turned 9 and has finally inched closer to the 50% for weight, finally 60 lbs :) I know our dr said as long as his growth stayed around the same percentile not to worry.

Quiet time, coffee and a nice bubble bath before bed :)

He sounds really good. We have just finished a year of lessons too with my 9 year old and I would say they are pretty close in ability. Love his outfit too ;)

Mine is great. The one thing I consistently prayed for as a kid was a great MIL because I was so nervous about what people say about them. Usually the only differences we have are food related and since she's French she's usually right ;)

Looks like PHFHG for us with DITHOR, TT4, and R&S4

We will be doing Beyond Little Hearts for His Glory with emerging readers, Singapore math 2 and R&S 2

I had a friend who pretty much went on a vegan diet and slowly added in food as she could tolerate, but she could avoid soy. For me too much acidic food will cause a reaction so I have to stay away from most citus fruits and tomatoes.

I just had a great shopping spree at Ross. :)

I don't have advice just stuck in the same spot with my 7 year old right now...very trying at times :)

Boy 38w 4d 6 lbs 3 oz
Girl 40 w 8 lbs 2 oz
Girl 40 w 3 d 9 lbs 10 oz
Boy 41 w 3 d 8 lbs 10 oz
I know for us dh side of the family tend to have 5-6 lb babies and my side has around 9 lbs so we have a little mix :)

My ds was doing sonlight science independently and the supplemental reading from the usborne book that went along with SOTW and CLE bible 2. For us it really just depends on how well the kids can read and comprehend what they are reading.

We do devotions in the morning and read the bible to them before bed. We have bible scheduled during school time just like any other subject, but right now it's more memory work.
