  1. I had one of those really bad sinus colds last year... garlic and vitamin C. Garlic is very good for clearing up sinuses and kills the bacteria. I used the garlic softgels and cooked with garlic whenever I could. It really does help. I hope you feel better!!
  2. I voted for Yes! on your poll and left a comment on your blog. I still use cursive everyday, I had no idea it was considered a dying art form.
  3. I would say kept at it with Rightstart, my 4.5 year old at first couldn't see the amount above 5 either without counting. I wasn't sure if it was going to work out, but we are one lesson 33 now and he is doing excellent. The yellow in the sun song definitly helped. We would sing it together while cleaning up, playing with toys..etc. Playing the matching game with the bead cards also helped a lot with my 4.5 year old to learn to see the amounts. Even my 3.5 year old joins in and he is learning a lot from just the games. Hope this helps!
  4. Lots of great suggestions. I needed some new ideas for my 3.5 year old, thanks for sharing!
  5. I can relate to your situation. Thank you for sharing your story, it makes me for a little better knowing I'm not alone in this. I have 4 boys, my 3.5 year old sounds similar to your son. His younger brother age 20 months is often on the receiving end. Thankfully there isnt much biting, but there is a lot of hitting, poking and pushing. Most of the time they hardly play with each other. My 20 month old will try but that usually upsets my 3.5 year old and he'll just go somewhere else. It never occurred to me that my 3.5 year old might need more one on one time with me. It is nice hearing from other moms and how they deal with certain things. :)
  6. I agree that if he is interested in learning cursive go ahead and teach him. Since he really wants to learn how that makes it even better. Cursive may be more his style than printing anyway! :)
