  1. Those are all a lot of fun, but hard to do with young children - the wait times when we were there was 2 to 3 hours just to get in to HoneyDukes, Three Broomsticks, & Hogshead and it was 1 1/2 hours for a wand. Way too long for us to stand in line :)
  2. Universal is more for the preteen/teenager, not for younger kids. There was only 1 ride in the entire park that my 5 year old could ride. It is really going to depend on your child. How tall the 6 year old is, and if the other children don't mind just walking around. I went with a 7, 5, and twin 2 year olds. My 7 year old is tall and she loves roller coasters so she had a blast, but the other kids were just bored and tired. We LOVE Disney and often get season passes :) If you have extra time, I totally recommend going to Magic Kingdom several times. Animal Kingdom is also a lot of fun with the younger crowd :) Their is also a dinosaur park in the area.
  3. :iagree: Eliminating some foods from my diet helped, but we did have to go on meds. Zantac didn't work for my son either, but Prevacid worked miracles :) When Prevacid went OTC in capsule form only I had to fight with the insurance company to get the pills that I could turn to powder to give to my son. My son also grew out of this around 7-8 months.
  4. I think the first thing I would try is having Mom watch what she is eating. Maybe remove dairy? Don't eat anything spicy or acidic - no mexican, nothing with tomato sauce, no soda's (nothing with bubbles - makes you gassy/burp), nothing that would give a baby gas like broccoli, etc. Have Mom really think about what she is eating, every time she puts something in her mouth (baby eats everything she does) Try this for at least 24 to 48 hours and see if it helps.
  5. It is a security setting on their disks. You can't save it to your computer.
  6. We just got 2 Pandigital eReaders and LOVE it :) It is a lot cheaper than Nook Color. We can use it to get on the internet and we use it for Netflix (there is an app for it). We also use it for the kids to watch movies, and read books on in the car (from memory cards). It is an android, so you can use any android app on it :)
  7. I would LOVE to not have a periods!!! I am always afraid to go out for fear that my period will start -- I never know when my period will come. It has started before when I was in Target and I bled all over the place - even dripping all over the floor. It was so awful and embarrassing!!!
  8. No I found it online - when I was doing a search for dealing with a heavy menstrual cycle. I had my tubes tied after my last pregnancy, so that wouldn't be a problem. I have always had an extreme amount of pain with my periods, but the bleeding was never heavy. Now, after giving birth to my twins, my periods are so painful that I pass out and bleed VERY heavy. My periods are always different - I don't have 28 day cycles. I skip months at a time, then suddenly have a period that will last for 2-3 weeks, and is VERY heavy for the 1st week. My main concern was if anyone had any problems with having this done. It seems like it would be a simple procedure. I think I am going to talk to my doctor about it - I hope insurance will cover it :)
  9. Do you know what the side effects or dangers are? Did it stop your periods? http://www.novasure.com/index.cfm
  10. February in Orlando is usually 60s and 70s by the afternoon, but can drop to the 50s early mornings. If you are coming from someplace cold then that will probably be warm for you. That is cold winter weather for us :D
  11. We live in Florida and our rental house was foreclosed on 1 month after we moved in :( The bank did NOT have to stand by the rental agreement (we had a lawyer) and we had to move - you are lucky that you are being offered any money - we didn't get any money and were out tons of money from having to move again (getting boxes again, paying to put cable lines in new rental, paying moving truck, etc.). They also wouldn't give us back our security deposit until after we moved, so we had to borrow money to pay security on a new house :(
