  1. We haven´t been able to use this book much, I have the teachers manual but struggle trying to figure out how to do the projects, does anybody know about a website or blog where we could see pictures of some of them? Right now we don´t know how to put together the "Gateway of Karnak" ...
  2. Most of my friends from the U.S. doing homeschool are missionaries, we´ve never been to Ensenada, but we hope to go someday and watch the whales =)
  3. :iagree:Don´t worry about the abbreviations, I saw a list in a post but mainly for phrases, I will catch up on those soon. Thanks for your comments, I guess it can´t be that hard ... my youngest will do foundations and I will get to have that guide, maybe that will give and idea of what to do in the Challenge, we´ll see ... hahaha, we´ll be flexible too. It´s a nice quote!!
  4. Can somebody give me the meaning for the abbreviations of these curriculums?
  5. Thank you Pam .. I think I can order almost all the books for the Challenge A program, I just really wanted to have the guide (only available through registration in a Challenge A community) because it sounds very complete, I have never read a Core, but you gave me an idea for my next question to the international manager at CC, thank you!! What is IEW? ... I am having trouble understanding the abbreviations, sorry =( I like running too :001_smile:
  6. Hola!! and thanks!! where is your little village? You must be a missionary right?
  7. Well the children to be registered would be our two daughters, it would be our 1st year homeschooling so we don´t qualify to be Directors of a Community (we can´t afford to travel to attend a 3 day practicum or the other meetings they have, we live in Jalisco) and there are no communities in Mexico, I think we´ll have to start looking for another curriculum  What does HTH mean?
  8. Hi, we are planning to buy the whole history timeline series, the teacher´s manuals increase the total cost a lot, do anybody recommend those?
  9. Thank you both for the warm welcome .. :001_smile: I've been exchanging e-mails with an international manager at classical conversation but I have not had an answer about this, hopefully someone doing Challenge will see my post. I am new at homeschooling and new at posting in forums, I could not even find my own post today. Is there a special place I can post what I have put together in the curriculum to hear opinions? Thank you very much!!
  10. I posted this question before but I do not see it anywhere in the forum. We are new to homeschool and to CC, I want to know if ordering the teacher´s manual from the timeline series are any good. I have two daughters old enough to be in the Challenge stages but we live in Mexico (and are from Mexico) so we do not have a community, if we start one we would be the only ones we know doing CC.
  11. I have questions about the Challenge A program .. to order the Challenge A guide I have to be in a community and there is none in Mexico, If I start a community do I still have to pay the program tuition and fees?
