  1. Hi Angela! I noticed your name and beautiful picture and then headed over to your blog. Awesome!! We use a lot of the same goodies. I'm happy to see you here!
  2. I wear a lot of mid-length skirts, mostly black or brown. I wear them with tanks for casual wear or dressier stretch material tops for dressy days (I am nursing). I just got a few at TJMaxx and Kohls. I don't even own jeans, and for me, t-shirts are only for night wear at home. I also don't wear pants unless it is freezing...very rare in AZ. And that includes for mountain hikes. If it matters, I am 34 and not religious.
  3. I'm curious about this as well. Skedtrack looks nice...and much more than I need. I am tempted to try Planbook because there is an iPad app for it but the reviews are less than stellar and I hate to spend $10 if it doesn't work.
  4. My son is on second grade work right now because we plan January-December. I'll have fun listing because we have only used SOTW, FLL, HWT, and RSO and then pieced all of the other subjects together. Now with two schooling and a newborn I need more structure and less planning. History: SOTW2 Science: Finish RSO Life RSO chemistry Math: Singapore 2B and IP Language Arts: FLL2 SWS2 GWG2 WWE2 Handwriting: HWT printing power Art: How to teach art to children Emphasis art Nature: Handbook of Nature Study following Outdoor Hour Challenge Reading: Books, books, and more books. Considering starting Latin...again. And maybe piano.
  5. I'm not sure if we will cover it in more depth after SOTW 2 or 3. I'm pretty sure I want to incorporate Howard Zinn's A Young People's History of the United States, but I want to make sure ds is old enough to handle it at that time. We did a pretty in-depth geography unit before SOTW 1.
  6. We are almost through Life and I definitely didn't need the kit. I visit the library once per week and check out books on the upcoming topic. If I don't think I'll have time I just request the books and my dh grabs them (he's a librarian so that helps). I don't use the books they suggest all the time. I use what is free and available. If we really like it I jot it down for our next time through the book.
