I took Clomid 3 times after 3 years of trying and got pregnant, then a miscarriage after low progesterone. I was taking day 5- 9. I researched and decided to go for day 1-5, and conceived twice, once with my youngest son after 1 month, and 2 months for my youngest daughter.

For myself, I really like Rochelle Barlow's 'ASL Done Right' course online. Part 2 and a homeschool edition is supposed to come out this summer or fall. She is readily available for questions and has a strong fb presence where she answers questions and does ASL challenges to help you get better. It's a video format online with a printable guide with activities. So you could feasibly use it for your older kids (maybe around 10+) too, although it isn't made for kids specifically. She teaches signs, grammar, and Deaf culture. She is an interpreter.
I was just looking at Rochelle Barlow's YouTube. Will be ordering her course for the kids later in the year. She is just what I have been looking for !! Awesomeness. Thank you so much!!

Song School Spanish.
Went with Madrigals Magic Key to Spanish and Quizlet. Not really for young kids.

We have Spanish, really enjoying it. And French but haven't started it yet, the reviews aren't as good.

Mine was top for my son and daughter. Also second for what I want to add for my daughter as a second math.

Most people drop Latin like a hot potato, honestly. So I would never recommend an expensive first curriculum. Many love Getting Started with Latin as an introduction, and the price is right if he has no desire to continue when it is done.

I know I have most, if not all, of the answer books to Wheelocks. Message me your email, and I will fire up the laptop.

Yeah, need more info to be able to answer. If you mean just curriculum = reading, writing, math, history, science, language, grammar .... 17.5 % But I have an asthmatic child who can hardly ever use "used" anything.

I child relative who is in the San Antonio School system who has been "passed" from grade to grade since K. Never promoted. Never able to do the next grades work, but passed socially. She is in 7th grade now. Never been promoted. She does not have a learning disability that has been found. From what I know, she just never got past that 3rd grade level so she is just increasingly lost.
I wish they would homeschool her.

I hate these threads too. I would not call if basic needs are being met, and they are in a loving home. Let it go. Try helping the kids, try talking to family or friends of this family.
But really, there are kids who are beaten, burned, sexually abused, starved, without basic needs met. They are the ones you need to save calling CPS for.

We shopped around when I had teen drivers just a few years ago. Girls are cheaper. Older cars are cheaper. Excluding the child from driving all but one vehicle is cheaper. It was still $60-100 a month in my area.

I purchased FFL with Classical pronunciation cd and I think it is going to pair perfectly with Latin Prep. I will be ordering the books you recommend soon too.

I need to get an inexpensive computer for the kids. I would prefer portable and a smaller keyboard. Our Kindles don't cut it for the reasons below.
Whatever I get will be for school so needs to have something to type papers in with keyboard, WiFi to send files back and forth to my laptop or phone, and be able to view websites : videos, Quizlet, YouTube, Adobe Flash things.
Suggestions? As basic as possible so as not to encourage playing.

I would not spend a ton of money on Latin, let's face it most people drop it like a hot potato. GSWL is a cheap way to see if you will even want to continue. The Kindle version is just about $10.
-
I also strongly suggest staying with Getting Started with Latin. It is a very gentle and fantastic introduction.
Our progression has been GSWL > Lively Latin 1&2 > Lain Prep. I am very Haley with our path so far.
-
There isn't anything as simple as GSWL. We have used some parts to whole programs. Lively Latin was fun and could work, also Latin Prep.

I went with SWI-A for my children that will be in 3rd and 5th in the fall. Combining when possible makes my life easier.
I purchased TWSS at the same time, which has extra handouts. My son is pure boy and daughter is pure girl, so far the extra stories have been amazing, we started early. Lol

My mother was very open, we discussed a lot. I am open with mine we discuss, have books, and videos.

I spend $1000 each at income tax time. And another $500-1000 through the year.
This year I got some big ticket items, IEW TWSS, SWI A and Analytical Grammar with Review books. I still want Teaching the Classics and Reading Road Maps. I have most subjects a year ahead.

Pre-ordered. Just in time for my birthday!
So if you had kids 16 months apart and you wanted to teach them together...

My youngest two are 21 months apart. We have worked at their own levels in reading and math and combining everything else. Sometimes my youngest just listened in and participated as desired. It is amazing how much she picked up when I didn't think she was paying attention. Now at 10 and 8, they really are on the same level in every area except math, my youngest has surpassed her big brother.
It might take a bit of time, or not work out at all. But no harm in trying, in my opinion.
Edited to add.
My older kids 3.5 years total between the three would have never combined in any subject.
