We used an app for that on our ipads called Notability. I could load the pdfs, he wrote/typed on them, and sent them back to me. Or he could attach blank sheets (or graph paper) for math tests to show his work. I bet there's something like that for Chromebooks.

I want to take a PDF file and make it so the kids can type answers into the correct spaces then save it. We will be going full time in an RV for 5 years or more. I need to save space and weight, so I would love it if I didn't have to print everything out, or take books for every subject. HELP !! I know there has to be a way.
They have Chromebooks and I am on a PC.

I see these daily and they drive me absolutely insane. I have had to leave many groups because of it. I can not hold my tongue. hehe

My children are 30, 29, 27, 12 and 10. My ( biological ) grandbabies are 9, 7, 5 and one on the way. I have many others and even a great grandbaby if you count my daughter's step children and my hubby's grandbabies. I was pregnant with ( at the same time as ) one of my husband's daughters twice, another once, and missed his third daughter and my own by only 2 weeks when my youngest was born. ?

We have done a ton of Latin, if I had it to do again I would do GSWL, First Form Latin for drill, secular edition for us ( 2nd, 3rd, we don't do Henle ) with Latin Book 1 or Latin Prep, then go to Wheelock's with all supporting materials.

I've also been doing genealogy for 35+ years. I'm hoping dna will help get me through two roadblocks. (one is such a mess, it will probably never be solved.)
when I was researching the various testing companies, I watched youtube videos. one woman's results came back as 6% subsaharan african. it left her extremely confused and she did more research to find out what was going on. Fortunately, her mother was still alive to answer her questions when confronted. she was "passing"- she ended up in contact with a cousin who was doing a documentary on "passing". such timing for them to get together.
then today - this story about two 72 yo women who were switched at birth.
I broke through two 20+ year old walls of great grandparents with DNA from 4th cousin matches. It was so thrilling. Now found cousins have tested closer in those lines to further fill in the lines. Happy hunting!

I can see both sides of that. Again, why are you so combative about this? Not everyone is going to agree with you, that’s okay.
I am not combative, I just don't agree that an adult child doesn't have rights to know why, and who gave them up.

So you are saying that adult children do not have a right to find their birth families? Or any adult child to find out their parentage. This is laughable.

If one of my kin raped and murdered, I will help law enforcement all I can. If law enforcement really wants DNA, they will get it. Better start burning your trash, washing your own dishes at restaurants, & etc.

Details are a bit sketchy, but apparently they had some of his DNA from his decades ago crimes, and compared it with that of the entire US database from those popular DNA sites. They are uploading to a site called Genesis Gedmatch which has no privacy at all. I think it is wonderful, my DNA is out there. But if I had concerns it would be the last company I would use. I would only use Ancestry and 23andme which allow complete opt out.

Actually he was adopted by his maternal grandparents, but his assumed full brothers are only half.

You can opt out of anyone seeing your DNA (Ancestry or 23 and me ) or medical info (from 23 and me ) Promeathease sends it straight to you. Further more you can use a untraceable prepaid credit card and a fake name or just give initials. It can be as private as you wish. If you opt out no one will see your results or and DNA family lines.

Gosh I wish you were with me when my mother was diagnosed with colon-rectal cancer in 1996 so that you could explain that to my insurance who didn't give a flip how many death records or medical records I had to explain to them what they should do. It took me a year to save the money to pay for a colonoscopy at 28 years of age. That Colonoscopy showed 32 precancerous polyps. Still insurance would not pay the following year even though my doctor recommended a repeat. I was found with 18 polyps non precancerous. Still insurance refused again the next year. Two brothers were tested both with precancerous polyps. Finally our insurance companies relented.
Insurance companies do what they want. My 30 year old daughter still can't get her colonoscopies covered. She isn't 50. LOL
I won't even go over what it took to get a neonatal cardiologist in the room. I should have a private room in the local children's hospital neonate.

Ethnicity is just an estimate taken from all tests and how much DNA you might share with people from a region. It is not an exact science they haven't dug up ancestors from eons ago to test their DNA. People cross the lines, no one is pure. I never did a DNA for the ethnic results, although they are entertaining and can help point research. They are in no way set in stone.

I would look around Corpus Christi, to Victoria area on the coast. Rockport or Port Aransas are my favorites, but no acreage in Port Aransas.
