  1. Hey! Something I can talk about...kind of. I just switched to cloth for our 9 month old. I've been using Bum Genius AIO and the Bum Genius One Size. I also have a Fuzzi Bunz, some Thirsties Fab Fitted and a Crickett's hemp. So far, I like them all, but I am leaning more toward the AIOs because they are so easy (and thus, Daddy-friendly). The complaint many people seem to have is that they take too long to dry. Since I have so many to cycle through, the additional drying time for the AIOs isn't a big deal. I like the Crickett's for nap time because they are very absorbent, but also quite bulky. The Thirsties are super soft, but require a cover (although the just came out with an AIO that I haven't tried) and they are bulkier than the AIOs and FBs. Since the pocket styles are supposed to be better for heavy wetters--because you can add more layers--I may like those better as the WeeOne gets older.
  2. Hi Ottakee! We made this change last Sunday and posted the announcement in the Admin Announcement Forum. I'm assuming you are seeing a lot of bold threads because you haven't visited those threads since the change. Hope that helps.
  3. Thanks Tonia! I'm not always sure what non-admins have access to. This is great news!
  4. Hi Sunny - We do not allow anyone to delete posts. We leave the posts up to encourage people to make comments on their transaction and to raise or lower someone's reputation based on the outcome of the transaction. We are unable to verify every person on these boards, and there were reports of scamming on the old board. With our new set up, we are hoping to reduce potential problems. Between requiring registration to post and encouraging comments and ratings, we are trying to provide a safer place for everyone. I agree it would be nice to be able to edit the title, but alas, the software doesn't allow that.
  5. I haven't received any emails from a "Doran." Have her try http://67.202.21.157/forums . Lower-cost ISPs tend to update their DNS data less often, so the "pretty" url will take longer to work for some. (I just got a long, complex explanation from Jedi Bob. Needless to say, most of it went over my head, but that was the gist of it.)
  6. Oh no! Only 9 months?? SuperBaby is 8.5 months now. I'm in big trouble.
  7. Hi Robin -- I agree. A 4-letter minimum search isn't helpful. The problem is that lowering that number will further degrade the Forums' performance right now. After we move things over tonight (please read the announcement, available at the top of each thread), we should be able to make an adjustment to the search. Keep in mind, though, that making the number too low--even to a 2--will likely return too many search results to be helpful. We will have to find the "sweet spot."
  8. Hi Jessica - Which browser are you using? In Firefox the spellcheck icon doesn't show (not sure why...we'll have to look into that); however, a red line appears under the mis-spelled word. I am seeing the spellcheck icon while using Internet Explorer. Hope that helps.
  9. Hi Everyone- Click the "User CP" link in the upper left of the page. From there, click "Edit Avatar" from the Settings & Options section on the left-hand side of the page. The directions there should help you through, but let me know if they aren't clear. If you want to create an avatar, I found different sites via Google. I created one at http://www.doppelme.com. FYI -- "User CP" means User Control Panel. Sorry, not our choice of terms/abbreviations.
