  1. I'm not sure I'd use it on the kitchen cabinets.  I have used it on a bedframe for my kids.  I actually sealed it with poly because kids are rough on furniture.  I'm just not sure I'd trust the wax on kitchen cabinets that are likely to have liquid spilled down the front at multiple times and get greasy/grimey.  That's just me, maybe it is fine and would hold up great.  I think if you don't want to sand then (the big plus of chalk paint) there are other primer paints you can just paint/spray on.  I'm doing a bookshelf right now (it was unfinished though) and chose olympus one I think its called.  It paints on just as nicely and no top coat needed!

  2. Derek, it stars Ricky Gervais, it's on Netflix.  It's sad, funny, sweet, very well done.  It's done like the Office, or Parks in Rec, with a single camara.  It's situational, taking place in a nursing home.

Doctor Who, Sherlock, Firefly, Eureka, Warehouse 13, Broadchurch, Fringe, Supernatural

I thought you were trying to explain to a previous commenter named Derek what some show was about.  So I googled Ricky Gervais and nursing home and found the name of the show is Derek!  I'm slow today, didn't sleep much last night, but figured I could give someone else some giggles!

  3. eshakti.com has customizable dresses in stylish options.  It varies by dress but typically you can choose the sleeve length, dress length, neckline, etc.  The first order, the customizing is free.  They frequently have sales.  I bought over President's day weekend for 35% off.  I haven't received mine yet, but friends have been very happy with their orders.

  4. We are happy with our orthopedic extra firm mattress from original mattress factory.  I highly suggest seeing if there is one near you.  We bought a latex topper but have removed it and are just sleeping on the mattress.  Our backs are happier.  My husband does kind of wish we had gone with the luxury firm, fyi.

  5. I'm trying to book our final week at Disney before our passes expire.  My usual afvclub.com doesn't have anything I'm really interested in, but thats the price range I'm looking at (less than $400 for a week for a 2 bedroom 2 bath very close to Disney).  So, where do you all book your weeks?  I need to travel before mid-April (and we live pretty close and homeschool so aren't terribly picky about when).
