    My ds hates Science and is not that great at Math. I don't really care for Apologia and am looking for an alternate curriculum for him. I am considering doing Biology or Earth Science first if I have to. Any suggestions?

    Ladies Thanks for this...I thought I was the only one going through with my ds. You always hear of girls and attitudes and my now 17 year old dd has mellowed out. But my 16 year old ds is driving me crazy. I have to walk away from him most times and pray for wisdom and patience. I have a ds 13, dd 8, ds 6 and dd 4 to still go through with. Pray for me and I will pray for you!

    My DS gets stuck when asked to write period. I think it's he has trouble with ideas and putting it all together.

    My DS is a reluctant writer...he hates it...and quite frankly gets stuck. I am worried about this weak area, as I know writing is very necessary for college, life, etc. Does anyone have any suggestions?

    I need some help....I am trying to decide between Friendly Chemistry and Conceptual Chemistry. I have a rising 11th and 12th that need to do this class. One of them hates math and the other hates reading. I really need to choose one science program that will work for both. I would love to know the pros and cons for both of these. Thanks

    Does anyone have ideas??? I am having a birthday party for my 13 year old son...I have several fun games planned but don't know what kind of prizes to get. There are mostly 13-15 year old boys coming. Help!

    My DD simply does not like Science and is not great at Math. I am trying to find a science curriculum that won't be BORING and too mathy. Upon the suggestion of others on this board I thought we might try PAC. I am open to other suggestions as I have not placed an order yet.

    I am considering purchasing MTM or Harmony Art. I was wondering if anyone knows how long you are given access to MTM online program once you purchase it? Does it expire? Can you use one program for multiple children? Thanks

    Trying to figure out what Science to choose for an 8th grader that is not that math savvy. I would like to use a curriculum that includes great simple lab activities and a textbook that is not BORING! Any ideas? Oh BTW we are looking at Physical Science. The choices I have considered but am not limited to are: Abeka LifePacs Elemental Science
