6packofun
My dd is helping to lead worship for the middle school students. WHY they chose her, other than that she can play the ukulele really well, is beyond me because they are having her SING, too. She just...can't sing well. Not terrible, but she goes off key and seems to be completely oblivious. I think she wants to sing! She's not bad, but I think she'd like to get better and I can't afford lessons. Any suggestions? Are there any little exercises she can try to boost her ability just a bit before Sunday? LOL! (I was thinking recording herself and then comparing it to a professional recording of someone singing the same song to see if she can hear the difference.) Junie
I've watched some youtube videos by Felicia Ricci to try to improve my singing. (In a church choir, not a smaller group.) I think that they were helpful. There are mild language issues in a few of her videos, but she seems to know what she's talking about and is fun to watch. I did a quick search of her channel and thought that these might be helpful: Good luck to your dd! Edited October 20, 2017 by Junie
Junie
The third link is How to Fix Sharp Singing. I'm not sure why it didn't come up like the rest. :glare:
