How do YOU use Fix It Grammar?

I mostly have the girls do it independently and then we go over their answers together. Some weeks we do it as scheduled (4 days), other times we'll do the week in two days. We've also doubled up before and done 2 weeks worth in one week.

 

This year I plan to do the copywork as prepared dictation instead. I think that will help them think about the punctuation and spelling a little more.

We go through the sentence together, discussing the vocab (sometimes finding it in the dictionary), labeling the parts of speech, and going over the flash cards if necessary. Then they copy the sentence on their own, and I check to make sure it's neat. We have doubled up when we need, but I try to keep it at one sentence.
