lulalu
Are there any how tos or reference books on teaching arithmetic (not mathmatics)? There seems to be so much out there for modern maths, but not for arithmetics. The basics of arithmetic are easy to find too. Wondering more if there are helps for higher arithmetic. 2_girls_mommy
Well, the Teacher guides for Rod and Staff arithmetics have some teaching info in them each year. And if nothing else, they lay out a good daily plan breaking it down into really easy steps to teach. You kind of get a rhythm for it after doing it for awhile.
Ellie
Don Potter has lots of good resources on his pages. Some of the older math/arithmetic books on there have really good information on how to teach arithmetic.
