strawberryjam
Any recommendations for "self-help" style books for Gifted Kids? I've come across the book "Gifted Kids" and ordered that on Amazon, anything else? Especially about the emotional side of things.
chocolate-chip chooky
They aren't self-help books, but the novels by Allis Wade were helpful for us. https://www.alliswade.com/books OEs are well-explained and my daughter loved having characters with quirks she could absolutely relate to. She read them at about age 9.

SarahW
Smart teen's guide to living with intensity. I looked that up on Amazon - is there a sample of it anywhere? Can you say more about it? Amazon suggested The Gifted Teen Survival Guide: Smart, Sharp, and Ready for (Almost) Anything. I can look inside it, and it comes on kindle (international customer here). Can anyone say anything about it? Crazypants is now officially "gifted" and not a moment too soon, we're also in full-on existential crisis. Self-help resources are greatly desired right now. MamaSprout
Well, upon questioning DD, she says she doesn't recommend Smart Teens for your Dd's situation. Not sure what to recommend, though. We ride the see-saw here all the time.
