Earthmerlin
Bonjour. I'd like to add some new French apps on my 7 year old's iPad. Any suggestions?

Earthmerlin
Is this for a native speaker or a language learner? Native level stuff. We already have many--J'aime lire, Nathan, Hachette, Gallimard Jeunesse, etc. I'd like something at the ce1 level. She adores art & interactive stories but academic apps as well as 'entertaining' French apps are fine by me. Piano, coding, etc. all work well. What are 7 year old European Francophones currently going gaga over? Who're the 'hot' characters now?
CadenceSophia
I haven't looked for apps in ages (ipad having issues) but I do know the dragonbox apps have French language. Also, not an app, but code.org courses are available in French so she can make her own apps :)
Monica_in_Switzerland
The hot characters here are just American TV characters dubbed in French... lol. :-) TBH, I don't know of any native here using apps in an educational way. A few use apps for fun, but they just choose whatever is free. Slim Cricket apps are ok, but a bit young. The Hachette dictation app is pretty cool, but it sounds like you've got that one.
