Meadowlark
We're doing Veritas Press for grades 2 and 3 this year, Ancient Egypt. I'm liking it but feel the need to "do" something in addition to the computer lessons. Maybe it's because last year they produced a beautiful notebook that they were proud to show off and look through at the end. I haven't had much luck finding notebooking pages, but I'm guessing there has to be something out there. Looking for anything really...copywork, notebooking, even activities. Thanks! ScoutTN
SOTW AG has good stuff in it. An OT Bible curriculum with a good hands-on element might help too. Lots of great Scripture for copywork. Do you have the VP cards? They are nice. Things we did for Ancients the first time that my kids (then 6 and 4) liked: Chicken mummy. Nile flood. Act out Bible stories and video them. Hieroglyphics. Watch Prince of Egypt and The Ten Commandments. Loads of picture books.
