arliemaria
We completed our reading this weekend. I just need Robby to tell me to whom and why he would recommend our reading. My son is young, but I did not like many of the books to choose from. I only have two I think I'd like to read: Escape from Mr. Lemoncello's Library and Maniac Magee. I read Escape from Lemoncello's Library and REALLY enjoyed it. There were aspects of it that reminded me of the Mixed Up Files of Basil E Frankenweiler. Though of course there's the whole game aspect to it that makes it quite a bit different as well. Maybe more like Charlie and the Chocolate Factory? chelsmm
My daughter really liked Mr Lemoncello. The Mouse and the Motorcycle and the Caroline Mystery are the two others that my kids might like. And I have heard that kids like the Origami Yoda one, although it doesn't sound like I would enjoy it. :)
