Desert Strawberry
I'm about to sharpen my first ever Ticonderoga. I hope y'all haven't lead me astray.
Rebel Yell
:svengo: I can't believe you've gotten this far and never used Ticonderoga. Did you have nobody available to teach you how to homeschool? :glare:  Seriously, I LOVE those pencils! I wish they came in a mechanical version. :drool5:
wintermom
Staedtler are good, too, and they come pre-sharpened!
Guest inoubliable
:( A few years ago, we LOVED those pencils. The batch we got the year before last was awful, though. Breakage, smearing, just awful. I still have a ton of those pencils left because the kids won't use them. I don't blame them. We switched to mechanical pencils.
Dory
I have never heard of them before this. I guess I haven't been paying attention very well. Not that a nice pencil would be worth us getting. Our dog chews up pencils horribly and our cat keeps feeding the pencils to the dog unless they are in a drawer. The kids are only hitting maybe 50% of the time on getting the pencils off the tables and into the drawers.
