Danestress
Do I let him come with me to the florist to pick our a coursage for his date or this something most boys just don't care about and just plan to do this myself? This is probably a great time to explain to him that while *he* might not care about this sort of thing, sometimes in life we do things we don't really care about because other people expect it. If he's a big enough boy to ask a girl on a date, he's a big enough boy to go into a florist and pick out a coursage without expecting his Mommy to handle it for him. But it's sounds like maybe your are assuming he doesn't want to and you might be surprised. My son was pretty happy to pick out coursages for prom dates. Tammyla
I'd go with option C & Pick it out on-line. That way he gets to do and you get to make sure it gets done and is done well. Has his date given her preference, colors etc.?

I agree. This is a good training time. Offer to go with him to help him out, but he should do it.
