johnandtinagilbert
The Latin Road to English Grammar used from Logic stage --- highschool. Before that is the Phonics Road, which begins Latin for spelling beginning in level 3.

abbeyej
You might look at Caesar's English from MCT. It's meant as a vocab program, but you could easily use it for spelling for kids who have the basics.

Jen the RD
I hope I understand your question, but R&S Spelling in grades 7-8 focuses on studying roots (Latin, Greek, French, Spanish) as the basis of its spelling program. So, vocabulary and spelling are tied together with learning about the history of the English language. This helps the student understand why words are spelled the way they are especially in cases where there are "rule breakers". My dd will start this in the fall. http://www.rodandstaffbooks.com/item/1-167012/?list=Rod_and_Staff_Spelling HTH, Jennifer
