gala5v22
I'd like to use DVD's as a supplement to our study on early through modern U.S. History... kind of like a treat and a way to piece things together when we've worked through a topic. Has there been something that you think would be entertaining but educational for a 4th and 5th grader?

Wendi
My ds and I really enjoyed the PBS miniseries "Liberty! The American Revolution". It consists of actors playing various real people; all the dialogue was directly from diaries, letters, speeches, etc., from those people. Excellent. RenayofRohan
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DVD_Homeschool/ "This is a group for homeschoolers who are interested in supplementing their children's homeschooling education with DVD's and YouTube EDUCATIONAL videos! This is a great way for kids to "see" what they have been reading and learning about. Feel free to share DVD's that you have enjoyed...please keep it educational in nature!" You can get ideas from other homeschoolers and if you come across any DVD ideas, you can share them with other members of this group. ;)
