Ashkraw
I was wondering if anyone has used Chalkdust all the way through High School? How did you child do on the SAT's or ACT's. Did you like the whole program? Is there anything you would do different?

MomsintheGarden
We have used CD math all through high school. It's been a lot of work to keep up with, as I check everything myself (lessons, quizzes, tests). My oldest two have done very well on standardized tests, and my oldest is acing his engineering school math classes. If I had to do it over, I'd start Algebra I in 7th grade, allowing for 1 1/2 years for Precalculus, plus some slack time for extra review as needed, then at least the first half of the Calculus book in 12th grade. Starting Algebra I in 6th grade would allow for the completion of the entire Calculus book in 11th and 12th grades (1/2 in each), so the student could pass the AP Calculus BC exam. You might want to search for Chalkdust math on the high school board. This topic comes up often, and you will probably find all the information you need (and more) there.
