Melissa in St Louis
Hi, Hive! Has anyone used a service that sends you a list of rental properties on the market? Are these services legit? They have many listings on craigslist that say to call this particular service for info on the listing, and the it is $85 to get a whole lit of places. I am skeptical, but I am skeptical of everything! Thanks!

Oakblossoms
No that is a scam. I used to work for a rental management company. You can go through them. They will have a list of their rentals available and they will never charge for them. They will, also, have more "rules" for applications. Usually that means no pets and the rent is usually higher because they charge the owner to care for and rent the property.

Brenda in FL
I second contacting a realtor - They do get commissions for finding clients rental homes and in this economy they are willing to do that. You can also find rentals at realtor.com.
