specialmama
Has anyone used this for some hands-on fun science? What about the curriculum/books that come with it or supplement it? Likes/dislikes? Comments? Thanks in advance!
plain jane
I don't have first hand experience with it and I did post a similar thread a while back and only received one response. It was a link to an even older thread and the responses there were from people saying they had bought it but never used it. I ended up being lucky enough to take a look at the Teaching Tank and the activity book that comes with it and decided against making a purchase. It would depend on the ages of the dc you are looking to purchase this for, but I noticed that most of the experiments were too complex for my 7yo. Also, some of the experiments required you to have up to 5 tanks. :001_huh: I could see myself considering the purchase again when my dd is in middle school but the experiment book was rather dry, IMO. YMMV, I HTH a bit, and all that jazz. :tongue_smilie:
specialmama
Ah, yes, I just did a forum search and see the thread! Thank you so much Jane! You've been very helpful, and my dh thanks you for keeping $ in his pocket! LOL!
motherdear
I spent all that money on the Teaching Tank (it looked so good all set up at the convention!) and we haven't even touched the thing! It is set up on our window sill, ready for use and we plain old don't have the time! I'll have to put it on my to do list.
