Brigitte
I have a ton of eggs and thought I could make a few crustless quiches to put in the freezer. Unfortunately I have not found simple recipes online - some call for Bisquick, others cream cheese (which I do not have on hand), bread crumbs (???), etc. I figured with all the hen owners over here, someone would have a nice and easy recipe for me. :D
Tammyla
I love crust-less quiche! Be sure to grease your or spray your dish well and just go for it. Spinach Quiche 6 eggs more or less 1/2 to a cup of milk or cream 1 to 2 cups grated cheese chopped onion if you like crumbled bacon a few cups of spinach leaves minus the stems salt and pepper to taste with a bit of nutmeg Mix eggs place other ingredients into dish and then pour on the eggs. Bake at 375'-400' for 45 minutes to an hour depending on your oven. Let it rest before serving. I don't really measure anything and flexibility is key to this one. Plain old ham, cheese and onion are yummy baked this way too. I say go for it.
jentancalann
I'm new to these forums and don't have time set up everything now, but wanted to pop in and give you this great recipe for Crustless Quiche Lorraine- 8 turkey bacon slices -- cooked and chopped 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese 1 medium onion -- chopped 2 tablespoons whole-wheat flour 4 eggs 1 cup skim milk (or any other milk you have) 3/4 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper (for a little bite, can be eliminated if desired) Heat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 9-inch pie plate. Toss bacon, cheese, onion and flour together and spread in the bottom of the pie plate. In a bowl, beat eggs together, then beat in remaining ingredients. Pour egg mixture over bacon mixture. Bake uncovered 35 to 40 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting. Enjoy!
