Noeo Science ~ Anyone use 2 levels?

I'm considering using Biology I and Biology II as my boys abilities vary greatly at present. I'm just wondering if this is doable. My 11yo works well independently and I think he can handle most of the work on his own... me being readily available, of course.

I've wondered the same thing for my boys. My oldest isn't as old as yours, but is advanced in many ways. I'm afraid level 1 will not be enough information. I've kind of decided to do level 1, but add some more biographies for my older son.

It can be done... but I can't imagine it would be FUN. LOL I have two boys who are 4 years apart and I will be doing this in another year. NOT looking forward to it. Even though my 9 y/o is independant with most of it, I require him to do the summaries and fill out the experiment pages and he does not do a great job unless I am overseeing. KWIM? Working with my little guy would be terribly teacher intensive right now since he isn't reading well enough to read and do for himself yet.

We are using two levels of Physics right now. My 12yos is using Physics II (with supplements) and my 8yod is using physics I. It would NOT have worked for us to use the same for both. We are happy with what we are doing.

Thank you for more confirmation. I showed my 8yo the Bio I and he was drooling, but I know that the 11 (almost 12yo) would roll his eyes. We're anxiously awaiting the UILSE's arrival before making a final decision.

(Btw, I'm betrothed to a hunky engineer-man as well. ;))
