Kelley
Just curious what your opinions are about the book... Is it worth a read? thanks! Kelley
Plaid Dad
It was a quick, interesting read. I knew from the outset that I would agree with many of his conclusions, but even if you're on the other side of the debate (or no side at all), it's worth reading, imo. Quick read, good reminders. Interesting viewpoints about some things.
outtamyshell
I loved this book. I agree with most of his ideas, and I found the way he frames the debate very helpful. Except, I tend to disagree with most people who say college is oversold. Yes, it's oversold. But most organizations require a bachelor's degree for the best jobs. So I consider a BA a necessary hurdle to most employment. I do look forward to the time when these arguements make some headway into the mindset of the corporate world.
