hsingscrapper Posted February 2, 2009 Share Posted February 2, 2009 Has anyone else tried this site? I just got my son to take the three assessments today. I'm trying to understand how his reading comprehension level can be at a 5th grade level but his 'reading excellence' (is this teacher geek speak for decoding?) is only a 3rd grade level. Guest carrikids Posted March 2, 2009 Share Posted March 2, 2009 The Reading Excellence only goes to 3rd grade. So anyone higher than that tests out at 3rd grade. The Reading Comprehension is made to follow that, so just start him in RC, and skip RE, unless you want him to have a bit more practice.
