Colleen in NS Posted January 29, 2009 Share Posted January 29, 2009 Has anyone here used the online Pear Budget program? If so, how have you liked it so far? I looked into it briefly because it looks a lot like how my "homemade" spreadsheet program worked. Then the other day a friend and I were talking and she asked me if I knew of any simple budget programs and I mentioned Pear. She looked into it and signed up! Mom0012 Posted January 30, 2009 Share Posted January 30, 2009 I've used it for a few months. It was very easy to set up and it is easy to input your expenses. However, it doesn't generate much in the way of reports and I don't think you can download your transactions from your bank account or credit card statement. I could be wrong about the downloading. I'm switching over to Quicken. It's a little more time consuming to set up, but I think it is much more flexible and I know I can download my transactions so I don't have to input each and every one of them.
