Holly IN
I am considering getting this book but need a review of some sort as I can't get my hands on it to double check if I want it or not. As far as I know you can only get it through their website. Anybody got this? Holly
Evergreen State Sue
Nope, I don't have this book, but I have several others from this family. I hope someone else can tell us both. They attend homeschool conferences, so perhaps they will be at one near you so you can preview it.
KDBask
I bought it at one of their conferences, and to be honest, I was disappointed. It had many good points but I felt that the recurring theme was that they believe in textbooks. Several publishers were listed and it just seemed (IMHO) to be advertizing for them. But maybe that was because they didn't promote the style of learning that I prefer. It was not the encouragement to me that the other two "managers" books were. cathmom
I haven't seen the book, but from looking at their website, it does not look helpful to me. The Maxwells have made many educational decisions that I think most people frequenting this board would not agree with.
