Tanya in KS
I would like to get my kiddos started on this series but I am confused as to the "best" way to read through it. Should we go chronologically?? Where can I find how to read them chronologically? I know I saw a list somewhere but I can not recall where. Should we go as they were published? Thanks! dragons in the flower bed
There's no consensus on this. How did you prefer to read The Chronicles of Narnia? I personally prefer to read series in the order the author wrote them. Publication Order
Hillary in KS
I second Dragons. We read them in the order they were published.
SonshineLearner
I had never really looked at these. Thanks for the thread! :-)
mamaof2andtwins
My oldest dd just started reading these, and we are going by publication dates. I had no idea how the story went when I was standing at the library shelf. If you look this up on Wikipedia there is a chart there. Rhonda in TX
There are more things to discover in the first if you read them in publication order.
purplemama
I just wondered this myself because my son just started reading this series as well. I checked out a page from our library website (but I can't find it again) on which a reviewer wholeheartedly recommended reading them in publication date order. I would do this with any series because that is how the author wrote them. Jennifer
