Quiver0f10
I know there are page #s for the KF books, but are there any additional reading recommendations for grades 5-8 in the activity guide? Thanks!
dcjlkplus3
We are on volume 2 (Middle Ages). There are several recommendations that are for older, rather than younger children. The AG generally have a recommended age for the books recommended. THey may only go up to 5-6th grade level.

You can, however, find lots of additional reading selections on your own from Veritas Press, GL Press, and other online reading lists. HTH. charlotteb
You could use the WTM logic stage reading recommendations: http://www.welltrainedmind.com/historyaslit.html There isn't a book to coorelate with each chapter, but it is a great list! Mom2boys
Also look at Sonlight cores 6 & 7 for lit ideas to beef up SOTW.
Pretty in Pink
And don't forget the TOG catalogue (online), which you can sort first by year and then by level.
Alana in Canada
My all time favourite lists of books has come from the AG for SoTW2. Wonderful, wonderful picture books! Not so many for SoTW3--there are more Chapter books and "classic" (abridged) novel recomendations.
