silver
My daughter is in book 7 (Encomium & Vituperation) and is sick of writing about virtues and vices. Does book 8 (Comparison) have the student write about virtues/vices of the things they are comparing? thanks!
Momto6inIN
Not in those terms, although a student could take it that direction and obviously there is a moral component to some of the things they're comparing. The first several lessons are about tools of comparison. Then they write essays comparing a journey to the South Pole with Lindberg's flight, Helen Keller and Alice Paul, the telephone and the phonograph, boxing and baseball, and love letters from Napoleon and Keats.
