teachermom2834 Posted October 15, 2022 Share Posted October 15, 2022 I bought my dd a couple of books from Amazon and she did prepare for the test. It was very worthwhile. She had never taken any kind of standardized test before and the score report we got said she scored at the 99th percentile of all test takers for her school. She said some of the other kids were really stressed by the test but knowing what to expect helped her a lot. It was really useful for us because we didn’t have any other test scores or recommendations and the school is normally hesitant to put homeschoolers in a full honors load of classes but with my dd’s test scores she got all the classes she wanted without issue. I don’t know which books we used specifically - I just chose two that were current and looked highly rated,I think, but my dd found them very helpful.
