blendergal
We have done some formal science this year (grades 4 and 6) but not as much as I planned. I would love to line up some good science-y audiobooks we could listen to between now and next school year to . . . well, to help me feel better. What have you liked / seen out there?
Kezia
Have you checked Audible? We listen to some of The Great Courses science based things in the car. I have some to listen to about volcanoes. Apologia courses are available also.

For these ages, I think I am looking for something more narrative. I wish the Tiner books were available on audio. My kids enjoyed the Chemistry one. ealp2009
The Disappearing Spoon by Sam Kean is good. Bomb by Steve Sheinkin is fascinating and has a lot of history and scientific history as well as a decent amount of science.
