MeaganS
Dd5 is a fluent reader and hardworker. I'm having a hard time with writing for her, though. I'm sick of WWE, which I did with my older 3. I tried WWW but I'm not impressed. Honestly, I think I'd just like a copywork program. I can informally do everything beyond that at this level. Do any of you have a silly or fun copywork program you'd recommend? Pdf is fine. Or any other suggestions? Poop jokes and silliness are definitely a win for her. HomeAgain
Scholastic makes some fun ones. I didn't use this jokes and riddles book because it's ZB print, but I did use the cursive one.
caffeineandbooks
A couple of DIY open and go options: I had one kid copy a joke a day from a joke book into a notebook with a bright cover to create his own personal joke book. Another option might be one of those books that are 2/3 blank with the bottom 1/3 of the page ruled: kid can draw a picture, either freely or relating to a story you just read, dictate a caption to you, then copy the caption onto the lines below the picture.
