There is an 11-year-old B.C. girl who is stuck between what was supposed to be two-part spinal fusion surgeries, paralyzed from the chest down following a large hematoma. The second surgery became emergency surgery to remove the hematoma rather than completing the fusion. Her family is hoping for a doctor who may have seen this before. Rein in Sarcoma is an organization that promotes funding for research and awareness in our area.
