PeterPan Posted November 29, 2020 Posted November 29, 2020 Come across this on FB and it actually has some stuff worth looking at. https://www.yourtherapysource.com/ Who knows what you'd find. I was looking for VMI (visual motor integration) materials and found quite a bit. It's the kind of stuff ds was doing in OT and needs to do more of. Prices aren't too bad. 3 Quote
Cake and Pi Posted November 30, 2020 Posted November 30, 2020 Okay, admittedly off topic, but what's that introspection curriculum I've seen you mention a few times? Quote

You don't have to get all that. I did the training for $14 with her in person and it was amazing. Thing is, she has to recover costs, so the online training, etc. are what you'd expect for any training of that level. But everything is in the curriculum if you're the type who likes to read. The body check ring uses the "pre reader" lower level, simpler vocabulary and gives a nonverbal, point to communicate way for kids with language difficulties to communicate. The main curriculum already comes with printables for everything at multiple user levels (symbol, words, lower level vocabulary, higher level vocabulary) to let you make file folder check ins. It already comes with all that. I just kept talking with her about my ds and these language disability kids so she made a product that works specifically for them where they can just touch their choices. She gives several examples, so you can see for yourself. It's something you print and laminate. She has examples on her FB of her dds using it, super cute. 1 Quote
