Is it worth it to have your syllabus audited by the College Board so you can call a course AP on the transcript? Anybody been through the process? I see that there are options to adopt an existing syllabus and/or unit guides, but I'm not sure what that means in terms of practical implementation. I don't think I would attempt to write my own syllabus. I just get too bogged down in all the educationese.

DD15 will be doing AP Human Geography and taking the exam, whether or not we do the course audit.

I’m stuck too. I created an account, added the courses I think Dd could take, submitted it, but I don’t know where their syllabus for each course is located. I don’t want to create my own as I noticed that the books they recommended are the books I can use.

According to the how-to file I found on CB's website, you should be able to download the sample syllabi as part of the registration process. But I just googled AP Human Geography sample syllabus and it came up.

I’m so lazy that I am also wondering if I can submit a syllabus found online from a random teacher dated 2019-2020. Like I’m not changing the name or dates or address but using the content only. There’s really not much I would do differently for AP Lang or Lit, Psych or Govt.
