PeachyDoodle Posted August 10, 2020 Posted August 10, 2020 Is it worth it to have your syllabus audited by the College Board so you can call a course AP on the transcript? Anybody been through the process? I see that there are options to adopt an existing syllabus and/or unit guides, but I'm not sure what that means in terms of practical implementation. I don't think I would attempt to write my own syllabus. I just get too bogged down in all the educationese. DD15 will be doing AP Human Geography and taking the exam, whether or not we do the course audit. 1 Quote
crazyforlatin Posted August 10, 2020 Posted August 10, 2020 I’m stuck too. I created an account, added the courses I think Dd could take, submitted it, but I don’t know where their syllabus for each course is located. I don’t want to create my own as I noticed that the books they recommended are the books I can use. Quote
PeachyDoodle Posted August 10, 2020 Author Posted August 10, 2020 According to the how-to file I found on CB's website, you should be able to download the sample syllabi as part of the registration process. But I just googled AP Human Geography sample syllabus and it came up. Quote
crazyforlatin Posted August 10, 2020 Posted August 10, 2020 I’m so lazy that I am also wondering if I can submit a syllabus found online from a random teacher dated 2019-2020. Like I’m not changing the name or dates or address but using the content only. There’s really not much I would do differently for AP Lang or Lit, Psych or Govt. Quote
